Topics include: market systems, the banking system, international economics, economic policy, national income accounting, unemployment and inflation, and economic growth.
PRINCIPLES OF MICROECONOMICS (ECON 1B)
This is a transfer class for all business majors.

Description:
ECON 1B covers the economic decision-making patterns of individuals, families, and small businesses. Topics include: elasticity, scarcity, income distribution, market structure, market failure, production and cost theory, specialization and trade, and the role of the public sector.
REAL ESTATE ECONOMICS (ECON 15)
This course fulfills one of the requirements for both the Sales Agent and the Broker’s License issued by the California Bureau of Real Estate.
Description:
ECON 15 examines trends and factors that affect the value of real estate. Topics include how a society’s economic system influences real estate value, the nature of land economics and the classification of properties, the development of property, construction and sub-division, commercial property, fluctuations in economic value, residential market trends, real property and special purpose property trends.
